The Ag in the city farm and community garden is located at 536 N 44h st in West Louisville. We grow a variety of vegetables that we sell locally through our farmers market and produce boxes. We also maintain two hoop-houses where we grow hydroponic lettuce and greens and tomatoes, peppers and flowers. There is a small community garden at the site for residents in the neighborhood. Community garden plots are $20 for the entire growing season. We have limited availability and priority will be given to our elders and residents who live in the area. This year we will be managing the Habitat For Humanity Community Garden in the Portland Neighborhood this summer. We are currently taking applications if you are interested in gardening at this location.
If you have a community garden that needs revitalization and management, we may be able to assist. Send us your information and we will get in contact with you. We are always in need of volunteers to help out at the farm. If you or a group would like to volunteer feel free to sign up our barn doors are always open. click here
